Perfored belt conveyor for the transport of aluminum shavings

Conveyor machine tool

This conveyor was designed and manufactured by AL Industrie in order to transport fragmented and thready aluminum while filtering the different cutting fluids falling to our customer’s machine.
Equipped with a perforated belt, the conveyor collects aluminum shavings and drop the cutting fluids to the filtration bin.
The aluminum is pulled up to a grab where it will be treated. The 100 liters of liquid per hour are filtrated, firstly via filtration grids places on both sides of the bin, and thanks to a pump triggered via a level detector. This system allows our customer to collect his cutting fluids to be cleaned and reused.
The perforated belt conveyors are mainly used in the mechanical industry, where machine tools produce a lot of shavings and cutting fluids.
